Content and community coordinator

Based at our Subiaco office, we're looking for a driven creative to take ownership of our social media channels, engage with our community, and drive our new ambassador program.

Our journey

It started with a slingshot. In 2012, our co-founder Kingsley Fiegert was riding through the Perth Hills when he was hit by a ball bearing fired at him from a passing car. Rather than let it go, he set out to build a solution, and Cycliq was born. Today, our range of bike cameras with integrated safety lights captures every ride and is trusted by riders worldwide to have their back.

We're a social-first organisation, and we believe storytelling through video is one of the most powerful tools we have. That's why every candidate for this role is asked to submit a 60-second video instead of a cover letter, telling us why you're passionate about this role.

About the role

This role involves taking ownership of Cycliq's owned channels, creating social media content aligned with our content strategy pillars, liaising with our community and advocating for their stories, taking ownership of our ambassador program, and crafting weekly emails to the Cycliq community via Klaviyo.

• Plan, create and edit media content that aligns with our content pillars
• Engage with the Cycliq community and source/advocate for rider stories
• Own and run the ambassador program day-to-day
• Create and schedule weekly community emails via Klaviyo

About you

• 1-3 years in content, social media, or community roles
• Experience with video editing, Adobe suite or Canva is preferred
• Strong writing skills across tone and channel
• Genuine interest in cycling (desirable)

• Part-time, 3 or 4 days a week. Exact days to be discussed with the successful candidate
• Based out of our Subiaco office
